October 5th, 6th, & 8th

The Shining (1980) - - 11:30 p.m.

Stanley Kubrick's masterful adaptation of the Stephen King story. One of the most atmospheric and haunting films ever made.

Dracula (1931) - - 11:00 p.m.

It just doesn't get more classic than this.


October 12th, 13th, & 15th

Frankenstein (1931)  - - 11:00 p.m.

True fans of horror won't want to miss the chance to see the film debut of one of the genre's most beloved characters.

Friday the 13th (1980) - - 11:30 p.m.

The slasher film that spawned 11 sequels and created an iconic villain. Also, Kevin Bacon is in it.

Excision (2012) - - MIDNIGHT

The Chicago premiere, co-presented by The Chicago Cinema Society


October 19th, 20th, & 22nd

Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) - - 11:30 p.m.

Few bad guys tormented the kids of the 80's like Freddy Krueger. 

"One, two, Freddy's coming for you..."

Drag Me To Hell (2009) - - 11:00 p.m.

Sam Raimi, producer of The Evil Dead and The Grudge, brings us another classic in the making. 


October 26th, 27th, 29th

Rosemary's Baby (1968) - - 11:00 p.m.

Roman Pulanski's take on Ira Levin's bestselling novel that set the bar for occult cinema. 

The Exorcist (1973) - - 11:30 p.m.

Quite possibly the scariest movie ever made. We dare you to watch this and then not sleep with the lights on. 


October 30th and 31st



Halloween (1978) -- 10:30 p.m.

Any list of classic horror films would be incomplete without this 70's slasher.
